A little bit about me because why not.

 Hello all!

I hope everyone is doing alright, especially during the pandemic. Many of us have lost loved ones and I think it is important to say that people who are gone will forever be in our memories.

The reason I have chosen to share my research online is because it actually gives me a motive to go the extra mile and look into the stock myself. Sounds like a strange reason? I agree. In the stock market, we do not know what the company is doing and therefore make our actions solely based upon speculation. I view it as an emotional being capable of screwing you over in mere milliseconds... that is faster than you can blink. However, there are tools and data we can utilize to analyze the "mood" (which is price in this case) and secure some profit. It is also worth noting that everything you heard from your childhood about greed is all true here and please do not be me and test it - because you WILL definitely lose it and then wonder if it will ever come back.

In my posts, you will see blunt reviews of the stocks based not only on my own research but recommendations from the analysts like CNN Money, TipRanks, etc. I am learning daily and have been for 4 years. Started out by, "I am going to make millions by investing $10 in the stock market through Robinhood" to "holy shit I have lost all my money and this is the best high I have ever experienced"...

*narrator: it was not a high*

A lot of you might know the story of HMNY, an infamous stock that promised the world when it came to watching movies, then AMC was like, "not on my watch son" (#karma2021amcCOVID)... and within days, the stock went from cents to like $20+. I invested in around about $100 @ $0.06 per share or something along those lines and then sold at $9 - then immediately got in around $9 and sold around $11 (again about a $100 investment), and then when it went to $22... my inner devil was like get in, we going to $40... AND I did, it, however, did not. My heart was shattered and life was a lie. I vowed to make this money back.

This is where dividend investing was introduced to me by Google (not the company but like I searched how warren buffet and bill gates kept on growing their net worth). Once I learned about dividends, I started studying everything in relation to dividends. All the companies, how they performed over the past 5 years, how much dividend they had been paying (thanks dividend.com) and began writing down and tracking stocks. Some dividends are paid monthly, some quarterly, some semi-annually, some annually... I mean I literally went into the roots of dividend investing and it was so much fun. I would then gradually begin putting in money into monthly paying stocks (this is pre DRIP on RH around 2018). My port was looking good, I made the money I lost.

Then.

My daughter was born and I sold the stocks to buy a cow in my country (it was like around $900 with the baby and portfolio was a hefty $1,700 - we used the rest of the money to party because I was actually on vacation). She has gives me two babies one of which is already a cow and pregnant... the other is a dude and I shall sell him but not the next one. The next one is going to be my buddy.

As you can see, life is trippy. Study before you invest and as Warren Buffet said, "do not invest into a company whose products you wouldn't buy".

Good luck everyone, I hope this was fun!
