Why do I use Blogger if I can post to Reddit?

Hey everyone, if some of y'all are wondering why I am posting here on top of Reddit, it is because through this blog, I am able to earn a few bucks. Things have been quite tough through the COVID-19 year and it has hurt a lot. I figured if I post about my research on my own blog and on reddit, then perhaps it would be legitimate way to earn a few bucks. I do not want to make anyone feel like I am clicking baiting them into making money, which is precisely why, the blog here, and reddit are updated simultaneously. If you guys feel like this is not right and I should not post here, then I will not.

On top of this, I think the subscribe option on this blog is a way for people to get notified via e-mail whenever I post a DD or a post, which could be helpful if you still are into e-mailing. I heavily am, thank to my work.
